Gather ‘round, I’ve got a tale to spin about a recent jaunt that was simply… remarkable.

The leaves are starting to turn, the air’s got that crisp, apple-cider-like bite, and a good

old-fashioned fall adventure was practically begging to happen. So, what better way to

embrace the season than to borrow a shiny new 2025 Hyundai Palisade from the good

folks at Haselwood Hyundai and point its distinguished grille towards the charming, and

some might say haunted, town of Port Gamble?

The air in Port Gamble was thick with the scent of damp earth and Douglas fir, a world away from the relentless gray of the Seattle sprawl just across the Puget Sound. It felt like stepping into another century, the quiet broken only by the chirping of unseen birds and the distant thrum of something powerful approaching. West Hills Autoplex is all about community, and when I heard about Pacific Mist, creators of “Spray-On Rain,” I knew I had to check it out. I mean, spray-on rain? Seriously?

I walked into what I can only describe as a high-tech rain forest, a converted garage filled with hissing machinery and a pervasive, gentle dampness. And there was Willie, the CEO, a man with a handshake that was, shall we say, atmospherically moist.

Alright, so, I'd reached that point. You know the one. The point where your car, affectionately nicknamed "The Sloppy Jalopy" began to resemble a biohazard more than a means of transportation. It wasn't just the crumbs, though there were enough to sustain a small village of field mice. It was the general…texture of everything.
