Twas two weeks before Christmas, and all through the car,
Not a creature was grumbling, near or far.
The Pacifica gleamed, a silver delight,
New from West Hills, a pre-holiday sight.

Dave at the wheel, with a map on the screen,
Guiding us onward, a festive scene.
He whistled a carol, a smile on his face,
As heated seats banished winter's chilled embrace.

In back, nestled snug, with blankets so warm,
Suzie and Michael, safe from the storm.
The Stow 'n Go screen, a magical sight,
Showed Christmas cartoons, a digital delight.

"This ride is amazing!" Suzie chirped with glee,
"No more car sickness, thanks to this comfy seat!"
Michael, ever curious, peered up at the sky,
"Can we fly this car, like Santa's sleigh, way up high?"

Dave chuckled and said, "Not quite, my dear boy,
But the all-wheel drive, makes dashing through the snow a joy!
On snowy roads, worries we'll cast aside,
This Pacifica, a reliable wintertime ride."

The city lights twinkled, giving way to the dark,
On the road to adventure, they set off with a lark!
"Poulsbo!" Suzie shouted, "The tree lighting is near!
Will Santa be there, with his reindeer and cheer?"

"Of course, my sweet girl," I said with a grin,
"Hot cocoa and carols, with a festive mandolin."
The harbor appeared, with a ferry so grand,
Adorned with bright lights, a magical land.

Parking secured, we stepped out in the night,
The air filled with carols, a joyous delight.
Garlands on lampposts, candy canes bright,
In every window a scene, of Christmastime light.

But then, from the square, a voice filled the air,
Santa in red, made his way to his chair.
He boomed out his greetings, a ho-ho-ho to all!
Filling the evening air with his seasonal call.

The tree, a giant spruce, with lights burning bold,
A magical sight, a grand Christmas guard of old.

With hot chocolate in hand, we wandered the square,
Donut delights, a sweet, sugary prayer fare.
Suzie and Michael, filled with wonder and glee,
The magic of Christmas, for all the world to see.

Back in the Pacifica, under the starlit sky,
A happy discussion, voices up high.
"The Dickens play next week!" Suzie declared,
"Gingerbread houses! Caroling shared!"

"The Nutcracker performance!" Michael chimed in,
"Hot chocolate by the fireplace, a wintertime sin!"
Dave laughed and said, "Hold on, one at a time,
Christmas is long, with plenty to climb."

We drove on, the spirit of Christmas aglow,
The Pacifica humming, helping our memories grow!
For family, laughter, and traditions to hold,
More precious than presents, our holiday story yet to be told.
